Expedition Coordinator at Yara – Köping

In Köping, we produce ammonium nitrate and environmental products with high demands on safety, quality, and sustainability. Here, we manufacture approximately 360,000 tons of technical ammonium nitrate per year used in the mining industry and civil explosives, as well as over 100,000 tons of products for water treatment and other environmental applications. The facility is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 and is operated by about 130 dedicated employees.

Responsibilities

As an expedition coordinator, you will be part of an experienced and close-knit team. You will work to ensure that logistics flows smoothly. In your work, you will daily interact with other departments, various ports in Sweden, and external transport leaders from different carriers. Some communication will be in English as Yara is a global company and our customer center is located abroad.

Your role includes, among other things:

• Daily communication with the customer center, carriers, ports, and employees at Yara
• Working with our and external actors' data systems for e.g. waybills and traceability
• Managing and creating documentation for waybills
• Planning transport of containers to and from Yara Köping
• Close collaboration with your team and other functions within Yara

You will be an important part of a team that works together to ensure safe, stable, and efficient logistics.

• Are solution-oriented and enjoy working both in teams and independently
• Have a genuine interest in logistics and can work proactively to prevent disruptions in logistics flows
• Have relevant education or work experience in logistics
• Knowledge of dangerous goods by road and rail is a merit

Additional Information

The position is daytime work, Monday to Friday, excluding weekends.
